So our first game was a wild success. Twenty of you turned out for a game that saw its share of good ball work, good teamwork, and most importantly, good fun.

Play of the Night

This has to go to Jared Perkins and Kevin Unwin, for that sweet airborne cross from right field, right to Kevin's forehead, and into the net. This play alone made showing up worthwhile (unless of course you were the opposing keeper).

Defensive Player of the Game

A difficult choice, but based on sheer effort, this must go to Jennifer Dalton. This girl can get in anybody's way, and she is willing to go to the ground fighting. Her bruises and cuts rival those of Colleen from Survivor. Nice work, Jennifer.
